On Sunday April 28th, 2013 I will begin my travel to the RT Covention. This will be my first time attending this event and I’m super excited about it. I’m driving so it’ll take me about 9 hours to get there and probably a few cups of coffee.
Monday and Tuesday I’m attending the writing bootcamp. I’ve already been learning a lot through the yahoo group for this bootcamp and am eager to learn more while there. Two of the facilitators will be Linnea Sinclair and Stacy Kade.

There are so many awesome panels with fabulous authors scheduled which made it quite difficult to make my choices. In the end, I believe I made some good choices. A couple of those were: A Kiss Is Never A Kiss: Romance In Modern YA led by Josphine Angelini, Gayle Forman, Cynthia Hand and Tara Hudson and Fated To Be Mated led by Lara Adrian, Yasmine Galenorn, Alma Katsu and Kerrelyn Sparks;

I am most looking forward to the huge book fair and RT Teen Day on Saturday May 4th, 2013. Hundreds of authors will be present to sign their books. During Teen Day they have an Author Speed Dating breakout which is going to be awesome if I’m able to hold myself together long enough to talk to the authors.
It’s a good thing I’m driving to this event because I plan on bringing lots of books home.
I’d just like to give a shout out to my amazing husband. He is very supportive to my reading obsession and also my future goal of being a writer. If it wasn’t for his support I would not be able to attend this event.
