An amazing new sci-fi, urban fantasy series begins with The Broken Destiny: Book One of the Broken Series. Ava’s people have been exiled to the planet Poseidon where, through a series of awful events, Ava discovers that their existence has been fabricated by the Council and that she has a Destiny that could save them. Her soul is a key to a secret weapon that has been lost to an ancient race. To live up to her Destiny, Ava needs to go through a sequence of changes that will reveal her true purpose. Throughout her journey she will become what she hates in order to save the ones she loves; and through it all she will find herself – for that is her Destiny. The next in the series, Evanescent, is not to be missed.

My Interview with Carlyle:
What was the inspiration behind The Broken Destiny?
Well Im am sure you could tell by reading it that there is so much going on in this book. I’d have to say everything I have ever experienced or have had strong feelings towards. I wanted to create something that readers could relate to, difficult times, heartache, death, murder, violence, many issues and also to push the reader towards hope and faith, and to inspire power within. I created a gorgeous planet and that was inspired by the nature I have been fortunate enough to experience in South Africa.
If there was a movie for The Broken Destiny who would you want to play Ava?
I love Kristin Steward , she’s small, has gorgeous eyes, she might have to change her hair color and put on a little bit of weight, but I love the intensity she brings to the screen.
I saw you are doing a charity event. Can you share with us what it’s about?
Well I am someone who is blessed and will give back when I can. So what better way then to launch my book, bring on board some fabulous authors, artists and a school. The event is the 27th of October and we will be raising money for the aids orphans. I believe being in the public eye has its advantages and this is what it is about – making a difference where it matters.
Check out the amazing Book Donations for the Charity event! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥ Be enchanted – Touch lives ♥ Check out the Charity Event here

Yes, I have so many!
The Broken series 4 books. Rage is a spin off from the series.
There is another book idea witch is a prequel to The Broken Series – might be two books
Totally another series – The haltered Duology – two book – totally supernatural – not my genre but it came to me in a dream! So, I have to write it right?
I want to write kiddies books too. One is about a tornado and the other about a starfish.
I think that should tie me up for a few years.
What book are you reading now?
Right now I am reading The Fearie Gaurdian by Rachel Morgan. Again not my genre but wow I love it!
Favorite place to travel?
Me, I can travel anywhere, anytime, anyplace. But there is this place in South Africa about 3 hrs drive from my house. It has about 30 waterfalls you can explore and swim in… Caves, trees, mountains.
