Author Spotlight/Interview: Toy Davis

Posted April 26, 2013 by sarah in Author Spotlight, Giveaway, Uncategorized / 3 Comments

Bio: Toy Davis has always used writing as an escape from the boring reality she found herself in. She writes stories she enjoys, and hopes others will enjoy it as well. A lot of her stories and novels begin with a ‘what if’, and then becomes so much more. She loves food and dancing as well, and this is usually reflected in writing. Today she lives in California with her long time boyfriend, and two bratty cats.

You can find Toy Davis:

Overveiw: Prince Charnece is arrogant, sexist, and the next heir to the throne. He has lived a cozy life in the castle with no real worries of his own, until he’s taken by pirates. The pirates hired to get him back are no better than the ones who abducted him. Trapped on a ship with the captain, Gentina, he is forced to see the world, and women, differently. It’s the ultimate battle of the sexes as these two try not to kill each other.

Genre: Adventure, Historial Romance

Sarah’s Review:  This was my first pirate book I’ve ever read so I didn’t know what to expect.  But I really enjoyed that the female lead was a strong one. I do enjoy those!  Gem had a lot of guts to do what she did in that era and I enjoyed reading about her and her growth as a pirate.
