Our story was supposed to end there, but it didn’t.
Instead, I was left perpetually longing for a forbidden man.
Amber’s Review:
I was totally into this story and these characters from the very first page.
I’m not exactly sure what to make of it. I’ve read other titles from Penelope Ward and didn’t connect as quickly. Don’t get me wrong, her other works are equally good and entertaining but there is just something about Moody that grasped my attention.
Ever since the pandemic I’ve been in a funk when it comes to reading. Starting a new book only to put it down or take weeks to finish it. But not with Moody…I finished this one in just 2 days!
This story is unique. These characters are entertaining and find themselves in a unique position. They’re sexually attracted to each other but unable to act in their attraction. But as you probably guessed, that resistance only lasts so long.
A quick and entertaining read, be sure to add Moody to your TBR list today! You won’t be sorry you did.
