Enter the rafflecopter below for your chance to win one of the following books.

Book Overview: Told that she must be indoors at all times, Rapunzel feels trapped in the huge mansion where she lives. But when school demands to allow her access to the Internet, she discovers Facebook and becomes friends with Fane, a local teenager who changes her whole world. This story will have you entangled from beginning to end.

Book Overview: This stunning debut captures the grotesque madness of a mystical under-land, as well as a girl’s pangs of first love and independence. Alyssa Gardner hears the whispers of bugs and flowers—precisely the affliction that landed her mother in a mental hospital years before. This family curse stretches back to her ancestor Alice Liddell, the real-life inspiration for Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Alyssa might be crazy, but she manages to keep it together. For now.

When her mother’s mental health takes a turn for the worse, Alyssa learns that what she thought was fiction is based in terrifying reality. The real Wonderland is a place far darker and more twisted than Lewis Carroll ever let on. There, Alyssa must pass a series of tests, including draining an ocean of Alice’s tears, waking the slumbering tea party, and subduing a vicious bandersnatch, to fix Alice’s mistakes and save her family. She must also decide whom to trust: Jeb, her gorgeous best friend and secret crush, or the sexy but suspicious Morpheus, her guide through Wonderland, who may have dark motives of his own.

  1. My fav fairy tale would have to be Cinderella. I was always in love with the fact that she was such a strong person. She beat the odds thrown against her which makes her a trooper in my mind. Thank you for the giveaway!

  2. Oh that's tough! I'll go with Cinderella. The Disney version was my favorite as a kid, I used to sing the songs all the time. And every since, I love all of the different twists on the story that pop up- such as Ella Enchanted, Ever After, and most recently Cinder.

  3. I like the more non traditional fairy tales like Rumpelstiltskin, The Boy who cried Wolf, Hansel and Gretel, The Three little Pigs, and Little Red Riding Hood. And others like those. I guess a majority of these comes from Brothers Grimm fairy tales. Thanks for the giveaway! 😀

  4. My favorite Fairy Tale has and always will be Cinderella. I grew up watching it and got my daughter to watch it and its her favorite one as well. Thank you for the giveaway.!

  5. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite. The Disney version was the first movie I remember seeing in theaters and Belle was (and still is) my role model from the start. Love her! (I also love Robin McKinley's re-telling, Beauty)

  6. Thank you for this giveaway!
There is so many fairy tales! I just can't pick one! I like The Princess and the Frog, Beauty and the Beat, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Red Riding Hood! So many!

  7. I love fairy tales. I actually wrote a paper for my Literary Non-Fiction class about the resurgence of fairy tales in popular culture. This was last year when the two movies based on "Snow White" came out along with the tv show "Once Upon a Time…" and then "Cinder" came out. It was quite an explosion of fairy tales in mediums. I concluded that because of the rough economic times, people were grasping for something to escape to. In fairy tales, the impossible happens. The disenfranchised become the heroes and heroines. They rise to power and usually become a King or Queen. We are still clinging to the American dream and through the use of fairy tales we get to live that dream. As far as my favorite fairy tale goes, I love "Beauty and the Beast." I love it so much that I have thought seriously about naming my first daughter Belle. In books, I love retellings of fairy tales like "Cinder" and "Ella Enchanted." In TV, the show "Beauty and the Beast" on the CW is one of my favorites and in movies, I loved "Mirror, Mirror," "Beastly" and "The Wizard of Oz." Also, a big fan of the musical "Wicked."
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  8. I seem to really like the retellings of the beauty and the beast, like a tv show i watch too, and the movie Beastly I really liked, and some books that have their own spin on it. Just something about it I like. Also Red Riding Hooks retellings are great too, and as a child I really loved Cinderella, also remakes of that are great. Thanks (name in rafflecopter is Michelle L Lynn)
