Author Interview:
What is your favorite ice cream?
Oh, I am an Ice Cream fanatic. Oh, I am sorry I meant connoisseur. I adore seasonal flavors. But nothing will ever replace Ben & Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk.
If you could work with any author who would it be?
I don’t play well with others when it comes to writing, because my work comes from within me. However, I am working on a three story Christmas antho for 2013 with Savannah Rayne and Robin Renee Ray, both new and up comers, such as myself, 😀 However, I would like to work with Kevin Smith (the producer of Clerks and creator of the characters Jay and Silent Bob and he has also penned Green Hornet, Batman and Bionic Man comic books) to write a screen play. From your blog to his eyes 😀
Who is your favorite author and is your writing style similar to theirs?
John Saul, and no way, not even close.
What is your all time favorite book?
Salem’s Lot. I love me some vampires.
What are your must-have accessories while writing?
Two orange and white cats, coffee both in my hand and on my shirt and music. I also research while I write so I have to have internet access.
The dreaded writer’s block; Ever have it? If so, what do you do to get through it?
I have never had it, but I know why. Is it okay, if I share that? I am not afraid to work on multiple projects at once. Many of the great writers and many publishers have just groaned. But I follow my muse and I take her quite seriously, if she feels like working on that self– help book that I started or my mafia thriller instead of the book that is supposed to be published next, I will. Because I feel that by going where your strengths are in that moment make each story strong instead of week by forcing it.
Do you have a play list while writing? If so can you share some songs you have on there?
Yes. Generally speaking, I tune my Pandora to movie scores or piano pieces, otherwise the words can distract me. But if I am writing a horror piece, I have to have heavy metal music. I will do that when I read sometimes too. What type of music I listen to is very personal for each book and I write. And sometimes, the music choice is broken down by scene.
Are there any future books/projects you can share with us?
Actually yes 😀 And I just started this less than a month ago. So you ladies are the first to hear about it, outside my closed circle.
Sequel to Glow in the Dark (caution, very rough synopsis draft)
Being around Fireman her entire life, it only makes sense that Molly Gilroy follow in her father’s footsteps. When Molly decides to become a firefighter at the age of twenty-two her parents couldn’t be prouder. But Molly falls for their houses new firefighter her close relationship with her step da Jake is threatened. He believes there is something off about the boy and Molly believes that her father is just paranoid.
This sequel also follows in the footsteps of its original story and not everyone is as they seem.
What book are you reading now?
I just finished The Time Travelers Wife, again. That book is so much better than the movie. I am currently reading both Pearls of Pleasure by Chantilly White, I love independent authors and I am also a comic book reader and I am reading The Walking Dead graphic novels, not to mention too many single comic book titles to counts.
Favorite place to travel?
Las Vegas, they actually have a Ben & Jerry’s there 🙂 But I like it because it’s the city that never sleeps. And life is on such a schedule, it’s nice to know that when you are vacation and you want to go grab a burger, a drink and gamble at 3am, you can.
Anything else we should know about you?
Hubby and I own Hellfire Publishing, we publish, mostly fiction novels. We also own Hellfire Comics in Chicago Ridge Mall in Illinois. So I sit in the mall for twelve hours day wait on customers and work on Hellfire Publishing from my laptop. I take my reading very seriously. Now all I need is book store 😀 I hope the universe is listening.

Review by Sarah: I loved this book! I thought it might be another cheesy mystery romance novel. But it wasn’t. I thought the characters and the situations were believable. It was the kind of book I couldn’t wait to get back to. I finished it in 24 hours and it left me wanting to read more from Kiera Kroft. Which I will be doing in the near future.
Review by Lisa: OMG didn’t see the end coming at all! Well, one part I had thought possible but the other not at all. This book is full of suspense with a touch of romance added to the mix. LOVED IT!!
