San Diego Comic Con was a blast! Getting to hang out with friends and be a part of all of geekdom is amazing. This year was definitely one of my favorites. There was just so many awesome things to see. I was excited about what I did get to see but, as usual, was not able to see everything.
Here are my top experiences of Comic Con:
Netflix had an awesome offsite event which included one of my favorite shows, Stranger Things 2, an upcoming Netflix movie Bright and another show, The Defenders. Each of them seem really awesome but I cannot wait for Stranger Things and Bright. Netflix also gave out some awesome swag.
The Stranger Things part of the Netflix offsite was amazing! They had costumes, props and more. They also had a virtual reality piece that scared the junk out of me; but it was so awesome. These two pictures are just a little piece from this offsite.

One of the few panels I attended was the Mr. Mercedes panel. For those of you that are not familiar, Mr. Mercedes is a book written by the awesome Stephen King and was made into a television show. I love the book/series and am excited to watch it come to life.

I was lucky enough to be able to see the first episode of Midnight Texas while at Comic Con. This series is based upon the book series by Charlaine Harris. This book series is in my tbr stacks and I’ve bumped them up on the stacks because of the awesome premiere episode. I loved the episode and am excited to see the following episodes of the season. I’ve already have my DVR set up just in case I have to work late.

The Game of Thrones Experience was AMAZING!! About two weeks before Comic Con started I binged the show and I totally fell in love with it; so being able to go through the experience and feel like I was part of it all felt awesome. They also gave away awesome swag.
This was the first year I was able to get tickets to the Conan Show. It was SO awesome. My voice was barely there the following day but it was well with it. Some of the cast of Kingsmen: The Golden Circle were there. I got an awesome Funko Pop of Jedi Conan as well.
If you know me, you know I am a horror fanatic. So, when we were able to see Annabelle: Creation early, I was totally excited. The movie is totally awesome!! I cannot wait to see it again when it comes out.

Since the remake of IT is coming out soon there was an IT presence at Comic Con as well. I loved the book and original mini-series and am super stoked about the remake.
There is SO much more to Comic Con and I could talk about it for days. The biggest thing that I enjoy about Comic Con is being able to be with my friends and being able to be the geek I am.
