Lisa’s Top 10 from 2017

Posted December 31, 2017 by girlswit in Year in Review / 0 Comments

This year was not a good reading year for me. I did not meet my reading goal and struggled with finding time to read. Sadly, I only read 50 books this year.  The bright side is that I finally caught up on some of the Stephen King books that I was behind on, but I do admit, I have more to read to get completely caught up. Although my reading list is shorter it does not make my top choices any easier to pick. Overall, I really enjoyed every book I read this year. You can check out my reading list at the bottom of this post.

In no particular order here is my top 10 list:

Stephen King will always be in my favorites. I have adored his writing for as long as I can remember. Although I had many of Jennifer Armentrout’s books I had not read them until this year. I am so glad I did because I love her writing. Haven, Ultimate Sacrifice, and Merciless III all met my paranormal/horror obsession. I am still thinking about these three books. Thirteen Reasons Why was such a thought provoking story; I loved it. Illuminae, Gray Wolf Island, and The Ones are all written so well and captured me within a few pages.

Have you read any of my faves? If so, let me know your thoughts in the comments.
