Politically Incorrect by Jeanne McDonald is a fun, intelligent read. It’s release is perfectly timed to coincide with the current and upcoming elections.
Elizabeth is a strong, independent, successful woman and single mother. She has dominated what is traditionally a man’s world; becoming a high sought after campaign advisor.
Liam is a cocky, intelligent, witty, heartwarming Congressman with aspirations for the recently vacated Senate seat. He’s young and this is often a disadvantage to him; whether when trying to sway voters or entice Elizabeth.
I found this one to be a slow burn…slowly building up. I found myself enamored by Liam. I could see how difficult it was for Elizabeth to resist him.
I too, as a woman in my 40s would find it difficult…inconceivable to believe that a younger man would be interested and older woman…but Liam and his desire for more with Elizabeth is believable.
