Shenanigans by Sarina Bowen is a super smart, witty and a delightful read!
Set amongst the Brooklyn Bruisers backdrop, Shenanigans is the story of Brooklyn Bruisers Neil Drake and Brooklyn Bombshells Charli Higgins as they learn first hand that what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas.
Both of these familiar characters have been previously introduced to Sarina’s readers, but it’s always fascinating to me to see the character development that happens though a storyline. Both Neil and Charli are deeply developed, well rounded characters. Both have secrets – just as most everyone does. The key though is whether those secrets lead to their downfall or them raising to success.
Highly entertaining. Laugh out loud moments, and some tender times too. Shenanigans is a great addition to the Brooklyn Bruisers series.
