Lisa’s Review:  I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Kenna’s powers really come into light in this sequel to Powerless. Although she grew up thinking she was powerless in a world where super powers define you, she realizes she has more power than she bargained for.

Kenna is totally kickass in this book, as she was in the first. Although some situations occurred where she could have crumpled, she kept herself together and focused on her goals.

I love that there are multiple couples in this book. Outside of Kenna and Draven I really loved Nitro and Riley. They are such a cute couple.

The authors continue their flawless writing in this book. Totally loved the action scenes because they really made you feel like you were right there in the battle. The pacing was extremely well done and kept me glued to the pages. When I was forced to stop reading for adult duties, such as work, the scenes floated in my mind all day and I rushed home to dive back in. Totally loved it!!

Huge thanks to Sourcebooks for giving me the opportunity to read this amazing book early.
