True love can't be strategized.
After book blogger Vivian Galdi’s longtime crush pretends their secret summer kissing sessions never happened, Vivian creates a list of safe crushes, determined to protect her heart.
But nerd-hot Dallas, the sweet new guy in town, sends the mission and Vivian’s zing meter into chaos. While designing software for the bookstore where Vivian works, Dallas wages a counter-mission.
Operation Replacement Crush is in full effect. And Dallas is determined to take her heart off the shelf.
Lisa’s Review: I received an ARC of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
What an amazing, funny, adorable, awesome book. I totally loved it!
First of all, bloggers everywhere should read this, as well as all book nerds because you will totally be able to connect with the main character, Vivian. If your neither of these but a Trekkie, you totally have to read this. I love the Spock and Captain Kirk quotes at the beginning of each chapter.
The main characters, Vivian and Dallas are so awesome. They each have their own quirks and are relatable.
Vivian is a book blogger with a specialty in romances. I love how she writes her reviews; they’re so funny. Dallas is just adorable. His character has totally made me fall for Mcnerdy fictional characters now. Dallas is the full package; he is intelligent, funny, caring, loyal and hot. Both Vivian and Dallas are Trekkies; which is something that creates the connection between the two of them.
The romance in this book is so sweet; however, there were times I had to yell at Vivian so she’d open her eyes to what was right in front of her. The majority of the time though I laughed or had a smile on my face while reading this book.
I highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed.
A HUGE thanks to Entangled Teen for the advanced copy.
