Sincerely, Carter
Author: Whitney Gracia Williams
Release Date: April 30th, 2015
New Adult Fiction

Synopsis:

Just friends.
We’re just friends.
No, really. She’s just my best friend…
Arizona Turner has been my best friend since fourth
grade, even when we “hated” each other. We’ve been there for one another
through first kisses, first “times,” and we’ve been each other’s constant when
good relationships turned bad. (We even went to colleges that were minutes away
from each other…)
Throughout the years, and despite what anyone says,
we’ve never crossed the line.
Never thought about it.
Never wanted to.
Until one night changed everything.
At least, it should’ve …
Just friends.
We’re just friends.
I’m only saying this until I figure out if she’s still
“just” my best friend…
Amber’s Review:

The latest release by Whitney Gracia Williams, Sincerely,
Carter
is a story of friendship; a story of love.  With a rocky start to a friendship, it
ultimately blossoms into something everlasting.
Arizona Turner and Carter James met in 4th
grade and instantly hated one another.
They loved to antagonize each other and ultimately drove their teachers
and parents crazy.  What neither of them
realized at the time though was that they would end up the best of friends.
Fast forward to their senior year of college – life
changes forced upon them – education and career changes – life getting underway
for them both.  The realization that
perhaps the other means more to them than just a best friend.  All it took was that one moment; to see the
other in a different light, that changed everything.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story.  While personally I’ve not experienced the
best friend to lover scenario as depicted in this story; the way that it is
portrayed is realistic and believable.
Both characters, Arizona “Ari” and Carter are likeable in their own
ways.  And the strength of their
friendship shines through in their witty banter. As a reader, you find yourself
rooting for the two to get together.
