Review: Uncovering His Secret by Crystal Perkins

Synopsis: 

Publicly, The Corrigan & Co. Foundation has been supporting women for years. Secretly, five powerful women, led by Jane Corrigan, have recruited ten agents, sending them to rescue those in need, and take out some of those who exploit the weak. This secret society of women all have unique skills they’ve brought to the foundation. Additionally, the agents have all had training in weapons, etiquette, martial arts, technology and languages. Helping out friends and family of their five mentors from time to time is something they were told to expect. What they didn’t plan for is falling in love. 

Book 5, Tegan & Caleb’s story.

I was gifted a copy of this book by the author for an honest review. 

I love series and this book was SO good. I have always admired Tegan, she is strong and independent. Her attitude and personality are easy to relate to. Her secrets in this book are big ones which she has been hiding for a long time. 

Tegan takes on the assignment which involves Caleb, her teenage love who she hasn’t got over. Caleb is kind of stubborn but accepts one of Tegan’s secrets a lot better then most men would. Caleb is a sweetheart though. 

Tegan goes through of a lot of emotional situations throughout this story. These are all necessary because she has to release the pain she has held onto for years. I could sense how Tegan’s was happier as each of her secrets were told. 

Let me say the dock scene is, OMG, I can’t even put it into words. It was totally HOT! 

There was a lot of action in this book which kept the pace flowing. There was also a good balance between action, hotness, and romance. Loved the book!
