I always get asked what books I’m going to read next or how I pick my next read or do you have a system for picking the next books I’m going to read. I try to pick the books I want to read for that month so I can get to them. I always have this amazing plan in my head and then it goes completely wrong one book in because I can’t seem to keep to my own plan and it doesn’t help authors keep putting out these amazing new books. So, I blame them for my plan going wrong.
I’ll get excited about one of the books I’m going to be reading while reading a different book and when it’s time to read the exciting book I no longer find it exciting and then I don’t read it. I’m not sure what my issue is but I definitely have an issue.
And my other issue is that if the book is on my Kindle it gets read way faster than an actual book so I always favor my ebooks more. (This also is not helping me get the pile of books from my front room down.)
These books I must read soon, they will be coming off my TBR pile…
These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman (ARC for a review)
Crewel by Gennifer Albin (For the online book club)
Selling Scarlett by Ella James (For a review)
These books I want to read in the next couple weeks…
Frozen by Melissa de la Cruz Blessed by Tonya Hurley (Lisa gave this to me last year for my birthday. I’m lame I haven’t read it yet.)
Goddess Inheritance by Aimée Carter
The Goddess Legacy by Aimée Carter
Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire
Okay so those are my books I need/want to read very soon. Do I think I’ll keep to it? No.
Do you plan out how you’re going to read your next book(s)?
